Thanks, we were unaware of this and will look into it.
We are about to launch a survey to help us improve NoteSync the best. Thanks for your feedback here and in your other posts. We are trying to prioritize and make the most important improvements first.
Have you tried using the gripper in the bottom right? If so, let us know what is happening.
You can use NoteSync offline. Have you tried this and it isn't what you expected?
@hollistera that is a great security workaround, we'll suggest this for others who are nervous about their google credentials. I'm curious if this is related to the bug you logged with us.
OAuth is a great solution, but definitely not completely secure. FireSheep has proven that using tokens for authentication still isn't completely safe (try it, and start tweeting as your friend when he logs in on an unsecure wifi network). ClientLogin works great for now and we aren't stealing your usernames and passwords :)
In the future we may add oauth support, but this will inconvenience our users by making them login every few days. This is the constant usability versus security issue.
Waiting for feedback from user.
Copy and Paste keyboard shortcuts (CTR-C, CTR-V | CMD-C, CMD-V) work for both WIndows and Mac. We have tested this in the note content text area. Are you experiencing something else?
We don't plan on supporting shift-insert, control-insert.
Great suggestions. We walk a fine line between simplicity and complexity. We are currently working on very simple HTML formatting elements like bold, italics, underline and potentially bullets. It gets complicated ensuring that what goes up to Google Docs is what comes back down, but it will happen. As far as MultiMarkdown syntax, that is an excellent technology, however it probably won't get integrated with NoteSync. We'd rather provide an intuitive editor rather than require the user to have to learn syntax.
Thanks for your suggestion, we appreciate them!
I'd like to hear opinions about this. The reason it goes to the note content after a new note is created is most people want to get whats in their head into a note, then they name the note later. We are happy to switch if there is enough demand.
Thanks for adding this. We need Google to update their API to support this feature. Right now it is impossible to have a stable sync engine that supports folders / tagging. We hope this changes soon.
